Little Arrows Child Care in Florissant takes an active approach to every child’s development.
We view each child as an individual who brings experiences, strengths, and curiosity to understand the world around him/her. We think they have the right to a safe, nurturing environment where they feel secure and comfortable in an atmosphere that allows the child to develop to his/her maximum ability. Our responsibility is to provide the environment and opportunities for their development to occur.
Each child has the right to develop at his/her own pace. Each child has individual development and physical differences and differences in racial and ethnic heritages. Children learn the best through active participation with their environment and we provide materials and activities which promote growth in social skills, cognitive thinking, and fine and gross motor skills.
We treat each child with love and respect, based on Christian principles, and help them to foster a positive self image. This helps them adjust, adapt and interact with others with love and respect.
We work to form a partnership with our parents and believe that parents are the most important adults in a child’s life. We work with parents to create open communications, mutual respect and make every effort to support individual parenting styles and choices.
Our facility is located in Florissant, on Wiethaupt Road, between Patterson Road and Shackelford Road. We are directly across from Cold Water Elementary School.
